Structural Steel Design Awards Success

This year’s Structural Steel Design Awards took place at the Museum of London on 5th October and SH Structures secured two of the five awards given out on the night. Both the Bomber Command Memorial Spire and the Harlech Castle Footbridge both secured a prestigious industry award.

Securing two awards is a great achievement and it was nice to share our success with the teams involved in the two projects. We would like to thank Nicky Barr from the International Bomber Command Centre and Stephen Jones of CADW for their kind support with our entry and through the judging process.

The two projects are very different (more details can be found within our ‘Projects’ section) but they clearly demonstrate the versatile nature of the use of structural steel in construction.
