Highcross Retail Development Link Bridges

Our scope of supply was to provide two fully glazed link bridges to serve the Highcross retail development in Leicester. The larger bridge is 3 metres wide and 36 metres long and provides a fully enclosed access from the multi-storey car park into the John Lewis landmark store. The second shorter structure takes shoppers from the John Lewis store at first floor level into the rest of the retail area across Bath House Lane.  The main span is formed from a slender steel box which supports the glazing with the enclosure increasing in size as it approaches the John Lewis store.  SH Structures were responsible for the fabrication and installation of both bridges along with all their associated finishes including glazing.
