Consultants Heyne Tillet Steel visit the Kelpies
HTS is a London based structural engineering practice with a reputation for intelligent design and innovative, practical solutions so a visit to the Kelpies was high on their bucket list. The practice took their annual office trip this year, north of the border, to visit some of Scotland’s engineering marvels. Their visit included the calling in at the Falkirk Wheel, the Kelpies ending their day looking at the magnificent Forth Crossings. In advance of their trip the office were given a presentation about the story of the Kelpies construction by SH Structures and we also acted as their guide during their visit. We are pleased to say that their reaction to their look inside the head down Kelpie was, unsurprisingly, universally positive. It seems the whole trip was a massive success and we are delighted that we were able to do our little bit to enhance the experience.
