Taplow Bridge Shortlisted for 2019 Structural Awards
The Knight Architects and COWI designed Taplow Footbridge has made another awards shortlist. This time it is for the 2019 Structural Awards which are organised by the Institution of Structural Engineers and celebrate the engineers contribution to the built environment. Judge’s commented ‘The team delivered an aesthetically driven solution that appropriately considered budget, constructability, durability, and maintenance. The final form is complimentary to its natural surroundings both visually and physically in its alignment to respect existing trees’
