SH Structures team visit to Tata Steel Tube Mill
SH Structures staff enjoyed a fascinating visit to the Tata Steel tube mills in Hartlepool this week. We have enjoyed a long-term relationship with Tata Steel as they have provided a large proportion of the hot rolled hollow sections we have used in our projects over the years. The visitors were given a guided tour of the facility and were able to witness how the sections are turned from plate coil into Celsius hollow sections. After visiting the mill, the team called in to see two nearby SH Structures projects, the Temenos artwork by Anish Kapoor and the Greatham Creek Seal hide. The interest in the visit has been significant and another two trips are planned in the coming weeks. Our thanks to Tata for their hospitality hosting an interesting and informative day.
