Working for Vinci Construction UK, SH Structures scope of work included the supply, manufacture and installation of over 1400te of structural steelwork. The steel supports various vaulted glazed mall roofs a central feature dome and other secondary structures. The £75m redevelopment of this high profile retail scheme in Manchester will be open to the public late in 2019 with Primark being the anchor store. The nature of the project has seen the majority of our activities being carried out at night requiring careful planning and coordination with our client and other contractors. Typically for projects of this nature where with multiple critical interfaces, including with the glazing, our ability to manufacture and install complex structures to exacting tolerances was essential to the success of the scheme.
