This new research facility in Macclesfield has central circulation space dominated by a large atrium roof. The three floors covered by the atrium are linked by a series of link bridges. SH Structures supplied and installed the primary steel structure, made from elliptical steel hollow sections, and its supporting tree columns and link bridges.
