Historic Waterwheel Recreated
Our client, the Berkeley Group made an unusual addition to our scope of works on the River Thames Taplow Footbridge project. As part of their prestigious riverside residential development the client has built a block of luxury apartments that pay homage to the former Regis paper mill that once occupied the site. To enhance the new building, SH Structures were asked to design and manufacture a water wheel to add to the period look of the site. Whist it does not function, we think the new feature meets the clients brief, with the weathering steel structure certainly not looking out of place.
