Footbridges 2017 Berlin
SH Structures are attending the Footbridges 2017 conference in Berlin this week. The international event takes place every three years and brings together designers and engineers from all over the world. The venue for this year’s conference is the Peter-Behrens-Halle of the former AEG production facility built in 1912. The hall provides the perfect backdrop to this exciting event. One of the highlights of the event is the Footbridges Awards sponsored by Bridge Design and Engineering magazine. We are delighted that three of our projects have made the shortlist with the Merchant Square lifting bridge, Greenwich Reach Swing bridge and the Harlech Castle footbridge all in the running for the short span category.
