SH Structures completes new bridge for the City of York
The first bridge to be built in York for ten years, the Hungate footbridge was opened to the public by the Lord Major of York, Councillor David Horton on 23rd September.
The cable-stayed bridge was designed and built by SH Structures for client Lend Lease Crosby Homes division. The erection work had to be carried out with great care, as the waterway is wildlife conservation area.
