Our corporate social responsibility policy ensures are our activities are constantly monitored and as well as complying with the law and relevant ethical trading standards. We continually look at how the business impacts on the environment, our clients, our supply chain, our employees and others.
SH Structures have been established on the same industrial estate in North Yorkshire for over twenty years and have a loyal workforce the majority of who live locally. We have an established apprenticeship scheme with the continual development of a sustainable workforce being an essential part of our continued success.
We are not only passionate about what we do but also the construction industry in general and actively promote careers in construction through various initiatives. These include supporting local school careers events as well as university mentoring schemes. We also contribute to various industry schemes such as the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineers (IABSE) Journey to Success initiative and the CITB’s Construction Ambassador Programme. We have an active schedule of  presentations to various professional bodies which have included the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Welding Institute.
